Week of June 8, 2026
Father's Day, Graduations or just a friendly get-together - It wouldn't be a party without Dilly Dip and some Garlicious Grind Seasoning for whatever is going on the grill.
This is the last week to grab vegetable garden starters from Almotsa Farm at the market. If you have been meaning to fill in the garden, replace something that did not take, or finally get those last few plants in the ground, now is the time. We will have vegetable starts ready to take home, plant, and grow into the season ahead. Stop by our booth this week and pick up what you need before they are gone.
Want to grow mushrooms at home? Our mushroom grow logs are a fun, simple way to bring a little of the process home with you. Each log is prepared to produce mushrooms over time with the right care, making it a great option for anyone curious about home growing, local food, or just trying something a little different. They also make a great gift for the gardener, cook, or mushroom lover in your life. Stop by The Mushroom Shop at the market this week to pick up a grow log and learn how to care for it.
There is nothing complicated about a good burger, and that is exactly the point. Ghost Light Farm burger patties are ready for the grill, the cast iron, or whatever your favorite burger night looks like at home. Simple, hearty, and made for easy meals that still feel like something worth slowing down for. Pick up a pack at the market this week and bring home local beef for cookouts, weeknight dinners, and those “we should just make burgers” kind of nights.
This week, we’re serving The Green Goddess, a breakfast sandwich made with mozzarella cheese, egg, and pesto on a buttery croissant. It’s fresh, flavorful, and a little different from our usual breakfast lineup. Stop by Barb and Tom’s Grill this Saturday and try one while they last.
Graduation parties, Father's Day celebrations, & 4th of July BBQ's all require fabulous family, friends, & food. Start by getting the best produce, spices, and necessities at your local farmers market! This week, we suggest our Pickled Red Onions. They are amazing on a burger, salads, tacos, hot dogs, but probably not in ice cream...
This week, we're showing our love for a classic: our biscotti: the cookie so nice, we bake it twice. Our almond dark chocolate biscotti is made with over 50% roasted almonds, hand-shaped and baked first in loaves, then sliced and baked again for that signature crunch — perfect for dipping in your cappuccino or vin santo, like you’re tucked into the Tuscan foothills. Traditional and Certified Gluten Free biscotti, available in 4 flavors. While you’re here, stop by for our limited seasonal favorites celebrating the local bounty: Strawberry Rhubarb Danish and Asparagus & Feta Croissants. Limited time, peak-season flavor. We love you!
I’ll be at the Glens Falls Farmers’ Market with on-site sharpening for kitchen knives, scissors, shears, garden tools, and lawnmower blades. Bring me the dull stuff that’s been slowing you down, and I’ll put a clean, working edge back on it while you shop. Sharp tools cut better, work safer, and save you a whole lot of frustration. Stop by the Mister Edge booth and I’ll get you fixed up.
Specialty Flowers! Anemones + Ranunculus available this week in sweet bouquets and petite fairy vases! Perfect for yourself or to treat a friend!
